I thought, as the cult I had joined had taught me, that Jehovah was the only God and that Jesus wasn't God, but that was completely wrong! The risen Jesus was God! When I found that out, it became clear to me in whom I should believe.
Then the burden of what the cult had taught me as sin was lifted from me. Because Jesus was my Lord, I could naturally obey God's Word and give Him my worries as well. Because it became clear to me that Jesus was God, all the problems that I hadn't been able to solve before were given clear answers. I left the cult without any regrets.
