I thought that if I believed in Jesus, my life had to get better, financially, psychologically, or in other practical ways. I considered Jesus as a means to solve my problems, so I sought Him only when I needed Him. Then after I met the risen Jesus, I was set free from focusing on prospering in this world to live a truly prosperous life enjoying eternal things.
